Internship Training Program

Internship at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center is a Postgraduate Training Program consisting of 12 months rotation through the different clinical services.  It is directly under the jurisdiction and supervision of the Committee on Internship program of the Department of Medical Education in coordination with the different services.

The rotating intern spends no less than the following period the different in specialties:

Department of Surgery

4 months

(including community medicine)


Department of Medicine

4 months

(including elective)


Department of Pediatrics

2 months

Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

2 months

The Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center Internship Training Program is accredited by the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges Foundation, Inc. (APMC).

The program commences on May 1 of each year and ends on April 30 the following year. 60 (sixty)new interns are being accepted each year.

4. Two Letter of Recommendation Preferrable from the Clerkship Director, Chairman of Internship Training Program and/or Residency Training Officers

5. Others

2 pcs. passport-size, recent ID picture, white background
photocopy of PRC license

6. Medical Certificate from Active Medical Staff of CGH indicating health status

Official result of anti-HBS and chest X-ray from CGHMC
Record of Immunizations: HEP A, B, MMR & VARICELLA
