Cardiovascular Operating Room/Recovery Room
The Cardiovascular Operating Room (with 2 operating theatres)/Recovery Room (CVOR/RR) is a stand-alone unit separate from the general operating room and recovery room. This results in a higher level of cleanliness and sterility for open-heart procedures while at the same time ensuring that the nursing staff has a higher level of training and expertise in caring for surgical cardiac patients. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that gives any operation the highest chance of success. Services offered by the CVOR/RR are:

    1.    Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) with Endovascular Vein Harvest expertise and equipment available

Telemetry/Stepdown Unit
The Telemetry or Stepdown unit is a unit dedicated to caring for cardiac patients needing intermediate level care. Patients who have undergone surgeries or angioplasties are observed here while they undergo cardiac rehabilitation with progressive physical activities. It is equipped with wireless ECG transmitters allowing increased patient mobility and comfort. This unit is capable of providing ICU-level care if needed.

Coronary Care Unit
The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is dedicated to handling cardiac emergencies that come in from other hospitals or through the emergency room. Patients with heart attacks, heart failure or other conditions necessitating intense cardiac monitoring or high-level cardiac care are admitted here. Equipped with all the necessary equipments for critically ill patients and staffed by well-trained nurses and physicians, the CCU is ready to handle and treat any cardiac emergency.
